Veterinary Education Team

Veterinary dentistry

In their travels, Barb and Cait learned digital dental radiology positioning from the best dental technician specialists and board certified veterinarians of the AVDC. They did a fair amount of teaching in hands-on courses and in-clinic trainings including instrumentation, bur information, digital dental radiology positioning, and equipment from machines to scalers.

They frequently discussed the massive need for veterinary dental education across the country and decided to take the leap to partner up and fill that void. They love being in dentistry, are compassionate about animals, and truly enjoy helping others continue their education and sharpen their dentistry skills.

Cait was born and raised in the beach town Brick New Jersey. She began her career at the Jersey Shore Animal Center as a kennel attendant and quickly became a certified Animal Control Officer.
From there, she moved to Philadelphia to finish her associates in veterinary technology at Harcum College, completed her large and small animal externships at the University of Pennsylvania, and was shortly hired by UPenn to work in the OR at the Matthew J Ryan teaching hospital in West Philadelphia. She became a certified veterinary technician, taught 3rd and 4th year veterinary students sterile technique and was the nursing shift supervisor for nursing students. She later joined VSEC (Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center) in Levittown PA & South Philadelphia locations to work with a board certified ophthalmologist. Cait saw a need for a service, became certified in Pet Loss and Bereavement, and created a safe meeting space for those needing guidance with the loss of their pet.
In 2014, she took a leap a faith, moved across the country to Washington State, and was employed by iM3 where she traveled the world selling veterinary dental equipment for the next 5 years. Cait met Barbara at iM3 where their friendship became more like a sisterhood, traveling the country making memories. When they both left iM3, they did not want their adventure to end! They brainstormed and birthed V.E.T- Veterinary Education Team!
During her free time, Cait enjoys travel, hiking, spending time with her husband, and animals! She volunteers for the Squirrel Refuge in SW Washington and is very involved with local wildlife, especially opossums, thanks to her non releasable one eyed opossum, Kiwi!

Barbara Boyle was born and raised in rural Ridgefield, WA, surrounded by beef cattle, cats and dogs. Barb’s natural love of all her furry friends was clear when she tended to them. Originally interested in law enforcement and sociology, she studied Human Development and earned her BA at Washington State University.
After graduation Barb took a job at a local animal hospital while she pondered her next career steps.  But she quickly realized that she loved the veterinary field and that showed in her performance.  She was recruited by Butler Animal Health Supply and joined their local call center.  She worked for Butler for 6 years, learning all about animal health supplies and how veterinary clinics and hospitals are run.
Barb was then hired by iM3, Inc. as one of their sales managers, traveling all around the country to demonstrate their dental equipment, instruments and consumables to veterinarians and veterinary hospitals.  Barb met her business partner Cait, at iM3 where they became fast friends, traveling, working and training together.
In her free time, Barb spends time with her friends and family including her 3 dogs.  She and her husband Ryan spend as much time as possible on the river, doing projects around the house or traveling together.
