Wildlife during winter have it tough. Food is more scarce, exposed toes, noses and ears are at risk of frost bite, and shelter is limited. There are ways you can help your local wildlife survive, like the beautiful Virginia Opossum, North Americas only native marsupial. Feed almonds and cashews to the squirrels, feed the birds, provide straw for nesting animals, break ice so they can access the water underneath, let them in your house (Just kidding!...kind of...) Remember, they were here first, and we're all in this together!
